He walked in on Maya after she drank the quart of orange juice that was laced with deadly nightshade. She's having a heart attack or something on the floor, probably.]

I knew the war would end soon! If everything goes as it did in his place, then the Allies will surely win in the next year. Not that I ever doubted our victory: The power of justice overcomes all!

Though I still don't understand what he meant by the Red Scare after the war -- but that's all right! I've been told enough.

It's almost been a month since I've arrived. It feels like it's been longer, though. This town really does feel like my place -- and the hamburgers aren't bad at all. They're pretty good, actually! I could eat them everyday for all of the three meals.

Also, it looks like I have a job as a waiter! Rika, you won't have to worry about helping me find one, after all.

Everyone, I've got an important announcement to make! As some of you already know, Arthur and I aren't totally human. It's a little difficult to explain, but he thought it would be a good idea to tell all of you about it.

So! Arthur is the living embodiment of England, a country in our world. It might sound odd but you could say that he's a walking mass of land in the shape of a human. He's got thick eyebrows in case any of you don't know what he looks like. Oh, and he's my support.

As for me, I'm the hero! You can call me Alfred. And I'm America, which is also a country where we're from! Actually, Mayfield's a lot like an ordinary American town.

Now that that's done and over with: Any questions? You can direct them to Arthur!
